Is EZ Plumbing a plumbing company?
No, and this matters. We are a referral service. We do not hold a plumbing licence, we do not employ plumbers and we do not do the work. We connect you with independent licensed plumbing companies in your area, and those companies pay us for the referral.
What does it cost to call?
Nothing. You never pay us. What the plumbing work costs is agreed between you and the company we connect you with, and you should get that price before anyone starts.
How do I know the plumber is licensed?
The companies we route to hold a licence in the state they work in. You can and should verify it yourself: every state has a licensing board with a public lookup, and any legitimate contractor will give you their licence number if you ask.
Do you cover my city?
We list the metros we route in on the locations page, and coverage is wider than that list. If you do not see your city, call anyway. If we cannot help we will say so instead of taking your details.
What counts as a real plumbing emergency?
Water you cannot stop, sewage coming back into the house, no water at all, or any smell of gas. Gas is the exception to everything on this site: leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility first, then worry about the repair.
Will someone come out tonight?
Often, but nobody can promise that honestly without knowing where you are and who is free. Overnight and weekend work carries a call-out premium almost everywhere, so ask for that rate on the phone before anyone is dispatched.
